Reid Davidson is the owner of Southwest Calibration Service, where he oversees business operations, process improvement, customer relationships, and long-term growth strategy. Since acquiring the company in 2022, he has focused on strengthening internal systems, expanding capabilities, improving turnaround times, and supporting manufacturers with reliable calibration services and audit-ready documentation.
Before entering business ownership, Reid spent more than a decade in the energy industry with Anadarko Petroleum and Occidental Petroleum. His experience included production engineering, drilling engineering, midstream operations, and international asset management. Throughout his career, he led technical teams, managed large operating budgets, and worked across multidisciplinary organizations where safety, process control, and operational reliability were essential to success.
Today, Reid applies that operations-focused mindset to Southwest Calibration Service, emphasizing continuous improvement, disciplined processes, and long-term customer relationships. His leadership focuses on building systems that help customers maintain confidence in their measurement programs while supporting the evolving needs of manufacturers across a wide range of industries.
Reid holds a Master of Science in Finance from the University of Colorado Denver and a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
